How to get your EVE character portrait as your avatar.

If you want to get your avatar as your EVE pic, you can do it two ways:

Firstly, go to Profile.
Click the Avatar link

1. You can upload the image from your computer if you want. Just right click on your portait in any chat window in EVE. Click Capture Portrait. This will be saved to My Documents\Documents\EVE\capture\Portraits. Browse for the image and click Save. Unfortunately with this method the avatar is a bit bad looking, the site resizes it itself. It might be an idea to resize it yourself - the size I like is 128 x 128 pixels. (This is standard for most EVE fora).

2. is muuuch easier. Go to Your EVE account and right click, copy image location. Then in Avatar again, paste the url into the link to off-site Avatar and Save. Again, it's a bit big, so what I do is link to the image they have on EVE Kill.

The only thing is, in order to get your avatar onto EVE Kill you need to post a kill mail.
